The historic Asbury Park Convention Center has been a host to many world famous entertainments. Entertainment such as the Marx Brothers, Ginger Rogers, Frank Sinatra, Elton John, The Supremes, Paul Anka, Rolling Stones, Temptations, Glen Miller, Duke Ellington, Bruce Springsteen, Creed, Stevie Wonder, The Platters, Bon Jovi, and hosts the Garden State Film Festival.
The convention Center was designed by Warren and Wetmore the same designers of New York's Grand Central Station. The convention center is registered as a state and national historical location.
The convention hall is located on the boardwalk and extends out over the water, it can hold up to 3,600 people depending on the event. The convention center can host a variety of events, events such as sporting, fine music and entertainment exhibits.
